Simran Sharma Explained

Simran Sharma (born 1999) is a visually-impaired para athlete[1] from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.[2] [3] She was selected for the Indian team to take part in the 2022 Asian Para Games at Hangzhou, China.[4] She won two silver medals in the 100m and 200m T12 events at the continental games.[5] [6]

Personal life

She married Naik Gajendra Singh in November 2017. Singh is also her coach. The Armyman is posted at New Delhi's 227 company of the Army Service Corps. She is supported by sports NGO, Olympic Gold Quest.
