Silene laevigata explained

Silene laevigata, the Troödos catchfly, is glaucous, erect or decumbent annual plant. It grows 6cm-27cmcm (02inches-11inchescm) high with glabrous stems and small leaves. It has pink flowers, and the petals bifid 9mm10mm long. It flowers in March–June.[1] [2]

Habitat

Pine forest, roadsides and garrigue on dry igneous mountainsides at 650m-1950mm (2,130feet-6,400feetm) altitude.

Distribution

Endemic to Cyprus, locally common on the Troödos range.
