Sibbald is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada within Special Area No. 3.[1] It is located on Highway 9, approximately west of the provincial border with Saskatchewan and northeast of Medicine Hat.
Sibbald experiences a semi-arid climate (Köppen climate classification BSk). Winters are cold, while summers are warm to hot, and dry. Precipitation is generally low year round, with an annual average of 313.8mm, and is heavily concentrated in the warmer months.
Sibbald recorded a population of 33 in the 1991 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada.
