Shvaughn Erin is a fictional character in the 30th and 31st centuries of the, appearing primarily as a supporting character in the various Legion of Super-Heroes series. A native of the planet Earth, she is a member of the Science Police, the law enforcement arm of the United Planets.
Shvaughn Erin is an officer of the Science Police who helped the Legion of Super-Heroes battle Mordru, the Khunds, and the Dark Circle during the "Earthwar".[1] Afterwards, she becomes the Science Police's liaison to the Legion and enters a relationship with Element Lad.[2] [3]
See main article: The Terra Mosaic. Years later, Shvaughn has broken up with Element Lad, and the Dominators have taken over Earth.[4] During this time, it is revealed that Shvaughn is biologically male, was originally named Sean Erin, and used the "Profem" medicine to become female.[5] [6] [7]
In post-Zero Hour continuity, Shvaughn Erin is once again a Science Police officer. During a battle with an Emerald Eye-enthralled Shrinking Violet,[8] Shvaughn is transported to the 20th century along with several other Legionnaires before eventually returning home.[9] [10]
