Shuqrah[1] (ar|شُقْرَة),[2] also Shaqrāʾ (ar|شَقْرَاء)[3] or Shuqrāʾ (ar|شُقْرَاء),[4] is a coastal town in southern Yemen. It was the capital of the Fadhli Sultanate[5] until the capital moved to Zinjibar in 1962,[6] although the royal residence remained in Shuqrah.
