Shumpei was born in Nagakute.
Shumpei Fukahori joined J2 League club Nagoya Grampus in 2017. He made his league debut for the club against V-Varen Nagasaki on the 25 June 2017.[1]
On 24 January 2019, Fukahori joined Vitória de Guimarães on loan until 31 July 2019.[2] He made his league debut for the club's reserve side against S.C. Covilhã.[3]
Shumpei made his league debut for Mito against Omiya Ardija on the 23 February 2020.[4] He scored his first goal for the club against Montedio Yamagata on the 21 October 2020, scoring in the 80th minute.[5]
Shumpei made his league debut for Gifu against Fukushima United on the 28 August 2021.[6] He scored his first goal for the club on the 4 September 2021, scoring against YSCC Yokohama in the 49th minute.[7]
Shumpei made his league debut for Thespa Gunma against Montedio Yamagata on the 19 February 2022.[8] He scored his first goal for the club on the 3 April 2022, scoring against Mito Hollyhock in the 19th minute.[9]
Shumpei made his league debut for Ehime against Iwate Grulla Morioka on the 5 March 2023.[10] Shumpei scored his first goals for Ehime, a hattrick against Kataller Toyama, on the 9 July 2023.[11]
