Shirvan District (Persian: بخش شیروان) is in Borujerd County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Shirvan,[2] whose population at the time of the 2016 National Census was 1,051 people in 326 households.[3]

History

After the 2016 National Census, Shirvan Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Shirvan District, which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Shirvan-e Gharbi Rural District.[2]
