Shirvan (Persian: شيروان) is a village in Shirvan-e Gharbi Rural District of Shirvan District, Borujerd County, Lorestan province, Iran, serving as capital of the district.[2]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,101 in 280 households, when it was in the former Shirvan Rural District of the Central District.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 1,139 people in 331 households.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,051 people in 326 households.[5]

After the census, the rural district was separated from the district, renamed Shirvan-e Sharqi Rural District, and along with the newly created Shirvan-e Gharbi Rural District established Shirvan District.[2]
