Sherman Wood (born) is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland, a position he has held since the 1999 season. Wood served as the head football coach at Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland from 1993 to 1998.
Wood played college football at Salisbury—then known as Salisbury State—as a defensive back, earning NCAA Division III All-America honors.[1]
