Shekiera Aisha Martinez (born 4 July 2001) is a German footballer who plays as a striker for SC Freiburg on loan from West Ham.
Martinez attended the Carl-von-Weinberg-Schule in Germany. She studied social education.[1] She was born to an Angolan father and an American mother of Mexican and German descent.[2]
Martinez represented Germany internationally at youth level. She was the top scorer of the 2018 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship with nine goals.[3]
Martinez mainly operates as a striker. She has been described as "brings a lot of power and energy, but also an additional goal threat".[4]
Martinez was born in 2001 in Germany. She is a native of East Hesse, Germany.[5]
