Sharya (also written Shariya, ar|شاريا, ku|,شاریا|translit=Şariya[1] [2]) is a Yazidi-inhabited town located in the Simele District of the Dohuk Governorate in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The town is located ca. 15km (09miles) south of Dohuk.[3]
