Shaphat (Hebrew: שָׁפָט; Latin and Douay–Rheims: Saphat) of Abel-meholah: a man in the Bible, father of Elisha.
After this occurred, Elisha left to follow Elijah after saying his farewells to his father Shaphat and the rest of his family.[1]
