Shane Heirman (born May 24, 1988) is an American basketball coach who is the head coach for the Incarnate Word Cardinals.
Heirman played two years of college basketball at Tulsa, playing in 39 games and starting in two. He averaged 0.8 points, 0.7 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game.[1]
Heirman started his coaching career at La Lumiere School where he coached for three years guiding them to an 82–7 record.[2] Heirman was then hired by Depaul where he was hired as an assistant coach, where he would coach for four years.[3] Then he would get a job as Central Michigan's associate head coach, where he coached for two years.[4] On May 5th, 2023, Heirman was hired by Incarnate Word to be the Cardinals next men's basketball head coach.[5] [6] [7] [8]
