Seyyed Mostafa Hosseini Khamenei (Persian: سید مصطفی حسینی خامنهای; born)[1] is an Iranian Twelver Shia cleric[2] [3] [4] and the oldest son of Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.[5] [6] [7]
He is[8] also known as "Hujjatul-Islam/Ayatollah Seyyed Mostafa Khamenei", the son-in-law of Azizollah Khoshvaght (Persian: عزیزالله خوشوقت).[9] [10] [11] He is also the eldest brother of: Mojtaba, Masoud (Mohsen) and Meitham Khamenei.[12]
Mostafa Khamenei, who participated in the Iran–Iraq War,[13] [14] [15] is a resident of Qom. According to Ahmad Marvi, who is the assistant of seminary communications in Office of the Supreme Leader of Iran:
