Sergiyevsky District (Russian: Се́ргиевский райо́н) is an administrative[2] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Samara Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 2720km2.[4] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Sergiyevsk. Population: 47,548 (2010 Census); The population of Sergiyevsk accounts for 18.2% of the district's total population.
