Cernay (in French pronounced as /sɛʁnɛ/; Swiss German; Alemannic; Alsatian: '''Sanna'''; German: Sennheim) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Grand Est in north-eastern France.

It is situated on the river Thur, 17 km northwest of Mulhouse.
