is a Japanese footballer currently playing as a midfielder for Australian club Moreton City Excelsior.
Having started his career with FC Imabari, Murai was touted as a player with a bright future after his performances on loan at Japan Football League club Nara Club in the 2021 season.[1] He returned to Imabari at the end of 2021,[2] he was sent on a development loan to Ococias Kyoto the following year.[3]
After a season on loan in the Kansai Soccer League, he was released by Imabari at the end of 2022.[4] The following year he moved to Australia, joining amateur club Robina City in June 2023.[5]
