Scolecobasidium ailanthi explained

Scolecobasidium ailanthi is a species of fungus in the genus Scolecobasidium.

Description

This fungus is characterized by a grayish black color, and spread out microscopic fronds. Its spores are sometimes split looking like seeds under a microscope.[1]
