Sarajuy-ye Gharbi Rural District (Persian: دهستان سراجوئ غربي) is in the Central District of Maragheh County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[2] Its capital is the village of Alavian.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 21,577 in 5,306 households.[4] There were 23,836 inhabitants in 6,569 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 24,465 in 7,067 households. The most populous of its 25 villages was Taleb Khan, with 2,848 people.[6]
