Sarah-Nicole Robles[1] (born December 20, 1991) is a Latina-American voice actress and actress. She is known for her roles of Luz Noceda on the Disney Channel show The Owl House and as Scarlet in Disney's Star Darlings.[2]

Early life and education

Robles was born on December 20, 1991 in New Jersey, US. She grew up in Paterson until she was 8, then moved to Fair Lane where she attended Catholic and magnet schools. She praises the magnet school system "It saved my life. Everyone was nice to each other.".

Eventually she attended Bergen County Academies where she studied the performing arts. She claims growing up she loved cartoons including, The Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog and Sailor Moon.[3]

Robles attended Carnegie Melon University graduating with a BFA, with a major in acting and a minor in gender studies. She also completed a training program for stage and film at Vassar Powerhouse Theatre.[4]

Career

Robles made her acting debut in 17 Days as Jessica By Moment Media.[5] [6] Soon after she started doing commercial work[7] as well as ADR and scratch voice-acting. Her debut as a lead in voice-acting was as Luz Noceda in The Owl House, she has frequently collaborated with the Disney brand on films and in television.

She has also worked with Audible for reading The Ghost Job by Greg van Eekhout.[8]

Personal life

Robles lives in Los Angeles, California. She speaks Spanish and actively knows stage combat, clowning and dance in the styles of jazz and ballet and has a pet dog.
