Sarı Süleyman Bey Explained
Sarı Süleyman Bey ("Süleyman Bey the Blond", 1643) was an Ottoman Kurdish governor, the chief of the Mahmudis (a Kurdish tribe[1]) under the Ottoman regime,[2] who strengthened the Hoşap Castle[3] in the Lake Van region.[4]
