"Canzone per te"

The Sanremo Music Festival 1968 (Italian: Festival di Sanremo 1968), officially the 18th Italian Song Festival (Italian: 18º Festival della canzone italiana), was the 18th annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Sanremo Casino in Sanremo, Italy, between 1 and 3 February 1968 and presented by Pippo Baudo, assisted by actress Luisa Rivelli.[1] According to the rules of this edition every song was performed in a double performance by a couple of singers or groups.[1] The winners of the festival were Sergio Endrigo and Roberto Carlos with the song "Canzone per te".[1] Endrigo went was thus selected to represent at the Eurovision Song Contest 1968, with "Marianne".
