Sanjabad-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان سنجبد شرقي) is in the Central District of Khalkhal County,[2] Ardabil province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Lonbar.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 4,842 in 1,054 households.[4] There were 4,240 inhabitants in 1,108 households the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,207 in 973 households. The most populous of its 16 villages was Lonbar, with 921 people.[6]
