Samantha Purvis (born 24 June 1967) is a retired British swimmer.

Career

Purvis competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics and the 1992 Summer Olympics.[1] She represented England and won a bronze medal in the 100 metres butterfly, at the 1986 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland.[2] Four years later she represented England in the butterfly and medley events, at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand.[3] [4] She also won the ASA National Championship title in the 100 metres butterfly three times (1984, 1985, 1987) [5] [6] [7] and the 200 metres butterfly three times (1984, 1985, 1989).[8] [9] [10]
