Salsky District (Russian: Са́льский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the forty-three in Rostov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 3499km2.[3] Its administrative center is the town of Salsk. Population: 107,795 (2010 Census); The population of Salsk accounts for 56.9% of the district's total population.
