Sale City is a town in Mitchell County, Georgia, United States. The population was 354 at the 2020 census.[2]
A post office called Sale City was established in 1904.[5] The community was named after founder T.D. Sale.[6] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated Sale City as a town in 1910.[7]
Sale City is located in eastern Mitchell County at 31.2631°N -84.0222°W (31.262970, -84.022182).[8] Georgia State Route 93 passes through the town center, leading southwest to Pelham and northwest to Baconton. State Route 270 leads northeast 8miles to Doerun, while Camilla, the Mitchell county seat, is to the west.
