Saks High School Explained

Saks High School is a public school in Anniston, Alabama and is part of the Calhoun County School District. The school serves grades 8-12.^[1] Wildcats are the mascot.^[2] Red and white are the school colors.^[3] It is at 4401 Saks Road.

Jody Whaley served as principal.^[4]

Saks Middle School was closed following declining enrollment and the high school expanded. Seth Taylor is the school's principal.^[5] The football team has been around for decades. It has yet to win a state chanpionship.^[6] Alphonso Freeney is the school's football coach.^[7]

The public library of Anniston-Calhoun County has a collection of the school's yearbooks.^[8]

Taylor Swift played at the school's gymnasium in 2007.^[9]
