Sainte-Opportune (in French pronounced as /sɛ̃t ɔpɔʁtyn/) is a commune in the Orne department of north-western France.[2]

Geography

The commune is part of the area known as Suisse Normande.[3]

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, La Hiboudière,Le Fay, La Besnardière, La Saussaie,Le Grand Ros and Sainte-Opportune.[4]

The commune has 5 watercourses running through it the river Rouvre and 4 streams the Prevostiere, the Grand Ros, the Haie and the Onfrairies.
