Saint-Hilaire-de-Loulay (in French pronounced as /sɛ̃.t‿ilɛʁ də lulɛ/) is a former commune in the Vendée department in the Pays de la Loire region in western France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Montaigu-Vendée.[2]
The Château de la Preuille, one of the oldest castles in the Loire region, is located here.
Saint-Hilaire-de-Loulay is the home town of Thierry Rautureau.[3] His restaurant "Loulay" is named to reflect his home town.
