Saint-Geniez-d'Olt (pronounced as /fr/, literally Saint Geniez of Olt; oc|Sent Ginièis d'Òlt) is a former commune in the Aveyron department in southern France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Saint-Geniez-d'Olt-et-d'Aubrac.[2] The theologian and encyclopédiste Jean Pestré (1723–1821) was born in the village.
Its inhabitants are called Marmots in French.[3]
