Sahand Rural District Explained
Sahand Rural District (Persian: دهستان سهند) is in the Central District of Osku County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[2] Its capital is the village of Esfanjan.[3]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 9,480 in 2,625 households.[4] There were 9,933 inhabitants in 3,060 households at the following census of 2011.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 9,339 in 3,049 households. The most populous of its six villages was Esfanjan, with 3,544 people.[6]
