Sadrac Saintil is a Haitian military officer. He was named in a presidential decree by President Jovenel Moïse to become the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Haiti, but was never ratified by the parliament.[1] [2] Lieutenant general Jodel Lesage would be named acting-commander instead, a post he would hold until 2024.
Saintil, then a lieutenant colonel, participated in the official whitewash of the 1994 Raboteau massacre, during the military dictatorship of Raoul Cédras.
