SV Victoria Seelow is a German football club based in the town of Seelow, located in the state of Brandenburg. Founded on August 2, 1908, the club has a long-standing history in regional football competitions.
SV Victoria Seelow was established in 1908 by a group of football enthusiasts in Seelow. During its early years, the club primarily played friendly matches against other local teams. In the 1920s, Victoria Seelow became a founding member of the Märkisch-Oderland Football Association and participated in organized league competitions.
Following World War II, SV Victoria Seelow faced challenges due to the political and social changes in the region. Nonetheless, the club resumed its football activities in regional leagues. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Victoria Seelow had moderate success and established itself as a competitive team within Brandenburg football.
In the 1990s, SV Victoria Seelow experienced success, earning several promotions and ascending through the German football league system. In the 1999–2000 season, Victoria Seelow achieved its first promotion to the NOFV-Oberliga Nord, the fourth tier of German football at the time.
