SM Al Mamun is a Bangladeshi politician and the former Member of Parliament from Chittagong-4 the Sitakunda constituency.[1]
He is the son of former Member of Parliament ABM Abul Kashem from the same constituency.
In his political career, he was elected as Sitakunda Upazila Chairman in 2019 upazila elections and served for 5 years. In the 2024 Bangladeshi general elections, he was elected as a member of parliament after receiving the nomination of Awami League for the first time. He served as a Member of Parliament as well as a Member of the Parliamentary Committee of the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
