Sōhachi Yamaoka Explained
from Niigata was a Japanese author.[1] He wrote a number of historical novels.[1] Politician Kenji Yamaoka is an adopted son.[2] In 1968, he won the Yoshikawa Eiji Prize for his historical novel Tokugawa Ieyasu.[3]
