Ryazhsky District (Russian: Ря́жский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Ryazan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1019km2. Its administrative center is the town of Ryazhsk. Population: 29,026 (2010 Census); The population of Ryazhsk accounts for 74.7% of the district's total population.
