Russowia Explained

Russowia is a genus of Asian flowering plants in the tribe Cardueae within the family Asteraceae.[1] [2] The only known species is Russowia sogdiana, native to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Xinjiang, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.[3]
