Geography

The village is located on the Konopelka River (a tributary of the Psel), about 13km (08miles) from the Russian-Ukrainian border, 82km (51miles) southwest of Kursk, 9km (06miles) east of the district centre of Sudzha, 9km (06miles) from the village council centre — the village of Makhnovka.
