Russellville is a tiny unincorporated hamlet in eastern Ray County, in the U.S. state of Missouri and part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The hamlet is eleven miles northeast of Richmond and 3.5 miles west of the Ray-Carroll county line, and consists of only a few houses.[1] Google Maps did not only not visit this Russellville, but doesn't even locate it on its aerial map, diverting users instead to the other Missouri Russellville, in Cole County just west of Jefferson City, Missouri.
Russellville has the name of William Russell, an early settler.[2] A variant name was "Fox". A post office at Fox was established in 1864, and remained in operation until 1904.[3]
