Runze Li Explained
Runze Li is an American statistical scientist, currently the Eberly Family Chair Professor in Statistics at Eberly College of Science, Pennsylvania State University.[1]
He became a Fellow of Institute of Mathematical Statistics in 2009, a Fellow of the American Statistical Association in 2011 and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2017.[2]
Education
He earned his Ph.D at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000.[1]
Research
His highest cited paper is Variable selection via nonconcave penalized likelihood and its oracle properties[3] at 7390 times, according to Google Scholar.[4]
