Rougnat (in French pronounced as /ʁuɲa/; Occitan (post 1500);: Ronhac) is a commune in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central France.

Geography

A large area of forestry, farming and lakes comprising the village and several hamlets situated by the banks of the river Cher, some 17miles northeast of Aubusson on the D996 and the D4 roads.
