Ropica Górna is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sękowa, within Gorlice County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia.[1] It lies approximately 4km (02miles) east of Sękowa, 90NaN0 south-east of Gorlice, and 1080NaN0 south-east of the regional capital Kraków.[2]

During World War I heavy fighting took place in the area as part of the important Gorlice-Tarnów Offensive.
