Romnensky District (Russian: Ро́мненский райо́н) is an administrative[2] and municipal[3] district (raion), one of the twenty in Amur Oblast, Russia. The area of the district is 10066km2.[1] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Romny.[4] Population: 11,822 (2002 Census); The population of Romny accounts for 32.8% of the district's total population.
