Roeperocharis Explained

Roeperocharis is a genus of flowering plants from the orchid family, Orchidaceae, native to eastern Africa. As of June 2014, the following species are recognized:[1] [2]

  1. Roeperocharis alcicornis Kraenzl. in H.G.Reichenbach - Ethiopia
  2. Roeperocharis bennettiana Rchb.f. - Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia
  3. Roeperocharis maleveziana Geerinck - Zaïre
  4. Roeperocharis urbaniana Kraenzl. in H.G.Reichenbach - Ethiopia
  5. Roeperocharis wentzeliana Kraenzl. - Zaïre, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia
