Robyn Bernard (May 26, 1959 –) was an American actress.
Born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas, Bernard made her debut with a small role in Diva. She portrayed bit roles in Simon & Simon, Whiz Kids, and The Facts of Life. From 1984 to 1990, Bernard portrayed Terry Brock on General Hospital.[1] Bernard's last credit was in Voices from the High School (2002).[2] She also acted in Betty Blue. Robyn attended Spring High School where she was Homecoming Queen, and studied at Baylor University.[3] Her credits also include Tour of Duty, Maigret, Roselyne and the Lions (1989) and Kings for a Day (1997).[4] She portrayed herself in The New Hollywood Squares, Hour Magazine, and Win, Lose or Draw.[5]
Bernard was the elder sister of singer and actress Crystal Bernard.[6]
But Bernard — who first sang gospel with her sister — plummeted from the heights of TV fame into a world of drugs and homelessness, sources say.
Her final screen credit was in 2002, and an insider notes Bernard virtually vanished from the public eye after losing her mobile home in a trailer park fire.
At one point, Robyn and Crystal were living with their dad," says the insider. After that, she was presumably missing, with no one knowing where exactly she was.
Bernard was found dead in a field in San Jacinto, California, on March 12, 2024 at the age of 64. A representative of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said that the investigation was ongoing, but there was no evidence of suspicious circumstances. [7]
