Robert James Ward is a Jersey politician who has served as the Minister for Education and Lifelong Learning since February 2024. A member of Reform Jersey, he served as Deputy for St Helier No. 2 from 2018 to 2022, and has served as Deputy of St Helier Central since 2022.[1] [2] [3]

Prior to entering politics, Ward studied science at the University of Sussex and worked as a teacher for 25 years. During this time, he became a member of the National Education Union, and eventually became President of its Jersey Branch.[4]
