Robert Andrew Wakenshaw (born 22 December 1965) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker.

Career

Wakenshaw played for Everton, Carlisle United, Doncaster Rovers, Rochdale, Crewe Alexandra, Fleetwood, Northwich Victoria and Southport.[2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

He also participated at the 1985 FIFA World Youth Championship.

Later life

His two sons were attacked by a football hooligan in October 2014.[7]
