River HomeLink is an alternative K-12 school located in Battle Ground, Washington, and is known for allowing a student's parents to participate in class activities, as well as providing a mix between traditional school practices and home school. It has over 950 students from around the Clark County area.[1] [2] [3] The school was identified as a site of public exposure during a 2019 measles outbreak, with the public being exposed to the vaccine-preventable illness Jan. 8–9, 2019, which forced the schools to close and the children to go home.[4]

RHL was initially founded in 1996 in Camas, Washington, emerged as a pioneering educational initiative designed to cater to the diverse needs of east county families, who were actively seeking an alternative and distinctive approach to their children's learning journey. This unique institution continued to flourish in its mission until the year 2011 when Battle Ground Public Schools made the strategic decision to relocate the alternative school back to its roots, signifying a pivotal moment in its ongoing evolution and commitment to educational excellence.

Battle Ground Virtual Academy [BGVA] was known as River Online and served as River HomeLink's %100 online program. Until 2023 when it broke off as its own school.
