Rivand (Persian: ريوند) is a village in Bashtin Rural District of Bashtin District, Davarzan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran, serving as capital of both the district[2] and rural district.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 997 in 322 households, when it was in the former Davarzan District of Sabzevar County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 884 people in 304 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,034 people in 384 households,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Davarzan County. The rural district was transferred to the new Bashtin District.[2]
