Durga Raj Dhamala (ne|दुर्गा राज धमला), known as Rishi Dhamala (ne|ऋषि धमला), is a Nepalese journalist and the founder of a Nepali journalist association, Reporter's Club Nepal.^[1] Dhamala works for several other media outlets in Nepal.^{[2] [3]} He hosts the Nepal Bani Network's Bani Bahas and writes features in newspapers,^[4] and also edits his own online newsportals.^{[5] [6]}

Controversies

On 3 February 2009, Dhamala was arrested by the Nepalese police for links with a terrorist outfit, Ranvir Sena.^{[7] [8] [9]} He was released on 13 April by the Appellate Court Patan.^[10]
